News >> Death Toll tops 100,000; Donation News

It seems that prediction that the death toll will hit 100,000 has come true. International aid hasn't come as fast as it needs to because the government is hesitant in allowing a lot of foreigners in at once. If this doesn't change, the death toll will climb--the lack of water, food and disease will kill those who survive.

BAWA's Cyclone Nargis Relief Fund has in that last two days raised over $3,300! Thank you to all who donated!
