Prayer Vigil, Fundraising and Donation Updates
Today BAWA held a prayer vigil for the victims of Cyclone Nargis at the Mettananda Vihara in Fremont. The turn out was a success as many members of the Burmese
community attended the prayer vigil. The donation box was open and we were sucessful in raising over $7,000 dollars between the hours of 2 PM to 6 PM. The total
amount as of this moment is $13,205! Thank you everyone who attended the vigil and all who donated to the fund!
